– FOWD Customer Impacts

The Fair Oaks Water District (FOWD) serves its customers both surface water purchased from the San Juan Water District (SJWD) and high-quality groundwater from FOWD-owned facilities. In November, SJWD will start a major maintenance project on its 62-million-gallon Hinkle Reservoir located near Folsom Dam. During the project (from November 2022 to April 2023), FOWD customers are requested to continue their efficient use of water and limit their outdoor water use in order to reduce surface water demands.
