Misha Sarkovich

Misha Sarkovich is the current Director for Fair Oaks Water District’s (FOWD) Division Five. Director Sarkovich currently sits on the FOWD Board’s Internal Budget Committee.  He also acts as an alternative representative for FOWD on the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) Joint Powers Insurance Authority (JPIA) Committee. He was elected to the Board of Directors in December 2004. As a Project Manager for the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), he currently is responsible for many of SMUD’s “Demand Side” programs, including the “Cool Roof,” “Shade Tree” and “Power Protection Services” programs.  Misha earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Florida State University, Tallahassee, and a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts Degrees in Economics from the California State University, Sacramento.
