Daniel Gilliam

Daniel Gilliam is the Director for the Fair Oaks Water District’s (FOWD) Division Two. Director Gilliam sits on the Board’s Internal Budget and Capitol Improvement Committee.  He also acts as FOWD’s representative for the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) Joint Powers Insurance Authority (JPIA). Committee. Director Gilliam was elected to the Board of Directors in December 2004 along with Directors Marx and Sarkovich.  He is a Licensed Engineer who has lived in Fair Oaks since 1976. When not working on behalf of the FOWD, Daniel demonstrates his commitment to the Fair Oaks community by having served on the Fair Oaks Community Planning Advisory Council, the Fair Oaks Recreation and Parks Department Board and the Fair Oaks Cemetery District Board of Directors. He has three children and five grandchildren.  – one of which now attends the United States Air Force Academy. In addition to serving the community of Fair Oaks and spending time with his family, one of Daniel’s favorite, personal pastimes is riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
