Randy Marx

Randy Marx is the current Director for Fair Oaks Water District’s (FOWD) Division Four, as well as the current FOWD Board President. He was elected to the Board of Directors in December 2004. He and his family, wife Cynthia, son, Elliot (13 years), and daughter Emily (10 years), have lived in Fair Oaks since 1987. Randy is a Chief Engineer with Brown and Caldwell Environmental Engineers, and works on a variety of environmental science and engineering projects. Randy has a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from Stanford University.  He enjoys running, tennis, and biking -- and in fact, has been commuting on his bicycle to school and work since the first grade. Director Marx currently sits on the FOWD Board’s Internal Personnel and Technical Advisory Committee.  He also acts as the District’s representative to the Regional Water Authority and the Sacramento Water Forum.
