Tom Gray

In October of 2004, the Fair Oaks Water District (FOWD) Board of Directors selected Tom R. Gray as the District’s General Manager.  Prior to joining the FOWD team, he was the Western Region Operations Manager for American Water.  Tom brings a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University Sacramento, a Masters Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix and widespread experience in private development and public operations to the District.  He holds current Department of Health Services Grade II Water Treatment Operator and Grade II Water Distribution Operator certifications, and current registration as an Engineering Construction Inspector. He is also certified as a Special District Administrator through the California Special Districts Association. Tom is a married father of three that believes in balance between work and family. When not working at FOWD and as a Fair Oaks resident, he enjoys the abundant outdoor recreational opportunities in the local area.
